Britney Spears may have looked "hot and blond" in the cameo she filmed for the Pussycat Dolls' new video, "When I Grow Up"which will premiere on FNMTV Friday night but we may never know just how hot and blond. Spears, who filmed a bit part in the video for the first single from the Dolls' upcoming album last week in Los Angeles, was edited out of the final cut of the clip.

A spokesperson for the Dolls could not be reached for comment on why Spears was not included in the video. The group's members did not elaborate on the edit during the taping of "FNMTV" Wednesday night in Los Angeles.

Spears was filmed last week driving in a car for her cameo, though an unnamed set source told US Magazine she did not interact with the group or dance while on set. "They all wave at each other as they are passing in traffic that is it. Of course, Britney looks hot and blond. It is a very short sequence, but [Britney] had a lot of fun with it. Britney really likes the Dolls' music and when she saw them on the MTV [Movie Awards], she was totally down to do the video," the source told the magazine.

Neither Spears' nor the Dolls' spokespeople would comment on the shoot at the time and attempts to reach Spears' representatives on Thursday (June 12) about the now-shelved cameo were unsuccessful. The video was filmed just a few days after the Dolls performed the song in public for the first time at the MTV Movie Awards.

Britney Spears' former manager Larry Rudolph has confirmed the star will be hitting the streets of London to shoot the promo for her upcoming single Radar'.

The 'Toxic' star is set to film the video in the British capital next week, and is determined to get her career back on track by taking a director's role on-set.

Rudolph tells the New York Post : "The theme is her and her girlfriends are going to be looking all around London trying to find a boy who she met in a club. Every time they think they have him, it's someone else.

"She will be behind the camera as much as possible; she wants to make sure
it's exactly right."

In April Rudolph, who was reportedly dismissed by the singer after he joined her parents in forcing Spears into rehab last year, told reporters how the star is gearing up to make a triumphant return to the charts, saying: "She's in an amazing position for a comeback right now. She could end up being
the biggest comeback in history."

Former actress and pop singer Britney Spears will attempt to revive her career when she appears as Woody Allen's love interest in his newest film, "Pomp and Curcumcision."

The actor/director is famous for casting younger women as his love interest and had to turn to Spears to be the emergency replacement for his original choice, Dakota Fanning.

Fanning, out due to having her tonsils removed, had to have her part cast at the last minute and Britney was happy to step in. "I'm glad Woody ask me to do this with him. I've watched him grow as an actor in his Toy Story movies and then when he made appearances with his friend in the Buzz Lightyear cartoon series. It will be an honor for me."

Allen, who has worked with Tea Leoni, Charlize Theron, Diane Keaton, and Julia Roberts, always casts younger women to play his love interests, and Spears is no exception. "Yes," he said, "I am a little bit older than her, but it's no big deal. People don't really notice that on the screen and are much more liberal these days. Besides, I think we both have the acting skills to pull this off."

Woody Allen's production company is said to be persuing a pair of actresses for his next film, tentatively titled "Crimes with Passion Fruit." If they accept the roles, Emma Watson (18) will be the wife who reacts violently when Allen dumps her for Abigail Breslin (12). 

We may have a role reversal on out hands.  Since dad Jamie took over and is now in charge of Britney Spears life she has turned it around and is behaving, and may even have a bit of a career going as an actress.  Meanwhile in Louisiana, with what appears to be very little parental supervision, Jamie Lynn Spears is out of the house and flirting with the paparazzi and a marriage.
 
Is it time for a move for Jamie Lynn?  Should Britney's little sister head to Malibu and live with Britney and dad Jamie at least until the baby is born.  There are all kinds of wild things happening on the Bayou and perhaps dad could control both girls if they are under one roof.

Jamie Lynn is pregnant and engaged at the tender age of sixteen and there is all kinds of screaming now that her mom Lynne wants to make certain that there is some sort of a prenuptial agreement so baby daddy and future husband Casey Aldridge won't get his hands on the Jamie Lynn loot of they happen to split.

Here's an idea, since she is sixteen and needs parental consent to get married, why not deny it?  It seems like dad and Britney are doing great in Los Angeles while mom and Jamie Lynn are floundering in Louisiana.  It might be time for the move to the California coast for little sister Jamie.  

Britney Spears has been warned that she maybe completely broke in four years is she doesn’t learn how to control her spending habits. Sources say Spears’ parents sat the pop star down and told her she needed to cut back on her wild shopping sprees and expensive cars.
“She was very wide-eyed and attentive but she’s as addicted to buying new houses and new Mercedes as she is to the attention of the paparazzi,” said a source. “There was a moment when her mother said she could be out of money within four years and her children would still be in primary school.”

Meanwhile, Spears has regained visitation rights with her and ex-husband Kevin Federline’s two sons.

Britney Spears and Heidi Montag have denied they recorded a duet together.

Britney and 'The Hills' star Heidi's voices both appear on 'Dramatic' - which premiered on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show yesterday (03.03.08) - but the stars insist they didn't work together on the track.

A representative for Heidi said: "Heidi has no knowledge of this recording. She did do a demo of this song for possible use on her record, but that recording had a male vocal on it, not Britney Spears."

Host Ryan believes the song was leaked by Heidi's camp, adding: "I just opened an email and there was this track and it said, 'Britney Spears and Heidi Montag'. How can you do that? If she doesn't know Britney, how can Heidi do a song with Britney? You've got to get a little Britney permission on that I would think."

Meanwhile, Heidi's 24-year-old stepbrother Eric O'Hara - a soldier who has fought in both Iraq and Afghanistan - died on Thursday (28.02.08) after slipping off an icy roof at the Steamboat Springs Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel in Colorado as he was removing snow.

Heidi said in a statement: "Losing my brother, at an early age, is such a tragedy. I just loved him more than anything. He was just so patriotic. He really wanted to go to Iraq and help and do all that he could for his country. He felt like it was his duty. I'll really miss him."

Britney Spears has dumped her photographer lover after finding racy text messages from other women on his phone.

The 26-year-old singer became convinced Adnan Ghalib had cheated on her when she discovered the series of raunchy texts and threw the snapper's £300 iPhone into her pool at her Hollywood Hills home before ordering him to leave.

A source said: "There were about a dozen text messages from one girl, all sent on one day. They were pretty saucy stuff with sexual references - certainly not the sort you'd send to just a friend.

"Britney lost it and started yelling. She was demanding to know who sent the texts and shouting, 'What's this about? You're cheating on me.' "

Britney decided to confront Adnan after two video clips showing him out with two women, one of which he was seen briefly holding hands with, were posted on the internet.

The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Adnan said the girl was just a friend but Britney got more and more angry. Then she told him, 'That's it. It's over.'

"Just before she told Adnan to go, she took the phone and threw it in the pool. He didn't bother trying to get it out."

Meanwhile, two psychiatric doctors visited Britney at her Los Angeles home for a pre-scheduled visit on Saturday (01.03.08).

One was a court-appointed psychiatric evaluator, while the other was a doctor from Los Angeles' UCLA Medical Center, where Britney underwent an evaluation last month.

The visit was ordered as part of Britney's ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline for their two sons, Sean Preston, two, and 17-month-old Jayden James.

It will also be used as part of the court's investigation into how long Britney's father Jamie Spears should remain in control of her affairs.
